The Journey from BPO to Scaling Global Brands
In 2007, I started where many great journeys begin: a Noida-based BPO. For a decade, I climbed the ladder from US sales calls for Dish Network to Team Leader. I earned my BBA and MBA, chasing the corporate promise of “better salary = better future.”
The Reality Check: Sitting in my office one day, I felt completely lost. Repetitive tasks were draining my soul. I realized a high salary doesn’t equate to a secure future if you don’t own your path. I took a leap of faith, quit without a safety net, and embraced the unknown.
Cracking the Shopify Code
After three months of unemployment, I discovered Shopify. I launched my first store, but it was dormant. I invested 30,000 INR of my own savings into Facebook Ads—and lost it all. Most people would have quit. I doubled down.
It took 9 months of testing, learning, and nearly exhausting my life savings to finally crack the system. That struggle is why I am a Performance Marketer today—I treat your ad spend with the same respect I gave my last 30,000 INR.
My success in the Shopify community caught the attention of Meta (Facebook), leading to an invitation to their Gurgaon headquarters to consult on ad research.
